So, haven't spoke a lot about it, but I'm just to go to the knife again...

This time things get a little bit serious, it's a tenodesis. Basically they'll cut my biceps, make a hole on the bone of the neck, insert the biceps and bolt it pretty much like a telecaster  :laughing7: :help:

I'm a little bit afraid of losing movement capacity, etc... But all doctors I've talked said it won't have this problem, so gotta do it... On the lest months the pain on my shoulder is increasing bad, last 2 weeks I felt like my arm was going to fall apart anywhere...

So this Friday afternoon I'm doing surgery again... Estimated time to start physical thepapy = 1 month after surgery...

So, wish me luck!

Good luck and hope recovery is just fine
keep coming back here, you are part of the community and we will miss you if you are gone.

Best of luck mate. It has really been along journey for you, but it sounds like its all for the best.

Good luck, Fernando! And don't worry about it too much. It's not gonna hurt. Surgeons are loathe to do anything they might fail at so if they're doing it, that means it's highly likely to work, and modern recovery/medication/rehabilitation pretty much makes it all a non-event. You'll be better in no time, although you may be bored for a while. Make a list of books you'd like to read and make copies for everybody so they'll keep you fed.

If you wanna worry about something, worry about the scrubdown they'll give you before surgery. It's violent to the point where the pain will make it through most drugs. I think it must be a special training course they give nurses, mainly to teach them how to handle angle grinders with 20-grit diamond abrasives while preventing the salt and pepper slurry they apply first from flying around the room. On the plus side, if you have any moles or acne or other skin aberrations, they'll be gone when you wake up and you'll be clean as a whistle. So, ask the nurse to blow you (they'll blame it on the drugs) <grin>

Wishing you all the best & for a speedy and very healthy recovery.

Take care Fernando

So, everything was ok! I wasn't feeling much pain but needed to take a shower and the towel fell on my right hand... so, hello pain!

But I think it's alright, I'm feeling solid and it has been long since the last time...
Cheers!
