I already know it's going to have gold hardware, just curious about pearloid binding + gold hardware. Pearl white is tempting as well, but that's too common IMO.

It's working tonight, I'm going to blame YT; yuck to the pickguard though. I've ruled out Tobacco Burst as an option; I do like Caribbean burst, but I've not seen it on BK and don't know if I want to go for the flamed/quilted maple cap.

Well, I have mixed news. Warmoth said they weren't able to rout what I needed and by the time I had purchased a finished body and gave it to my local guy to complete the routing and such it'd cost almost as much as I would spend for a full-blown custom.

So that's what is happening, Aaron at Black Water Guitars is building this as a complete custom for me for about $200 over what it'd cost to go Warmoth+routing locally. :headbang1:

There is a Jazz bass in the Warmoth customer gallery that's purple with white or pearloid binding and a purple pearl pickguard.  It's spectacular!
