Any good tips on feeding the neck and middle pickup wires down the channel to the control cavity on a rear route strat?

Tie on some fishing line with weights on and let gravity and a little shake do the work.

(In practice I found just keeping on trying to poke it through worked, eventually.)

Hm, good idea!
oh, I don't have fishing gear.
well it is a line I can see if I can improvise.
Thanks

possibly a used old high e string?

I've never had a problem just pushing the wire so I don't have any tricks.

Ok, so once I looked closer at the relationship of the slot to the pickup hole, I realized that it is just about 1/8" in.  By making the pickup wires as straight as possible and then angling them into the hole, they slipped straight down.

We are good to go!

I cut some zip ties, put in a hole with hot needle, tie on some dental floss, tie the other end to the wire, pull it thru with the zip.

That guitar has one of the best sounding tele neck pickups, but it's not tele pup, it's a dimarzio mini humbucker ... so nice.

Bicycle valve or surgical tube is a useful method.

Check the post linked below for an example of it in use.
