Strat neck joint question

Hi, I have a standard Strat with a standard neck joint. I would like to modify it like a contour heel angle access. Am I better to fill the holes of the body and the neck and drill new holes or it doesnt matter even if it's angle the screws will do the job?

It doesn't matter, the screws still go into the neck perpendicular. You may of course require shorter screws.

You also need to consider keeping a flat contour for the neck plate. Of course if you plan to use ferrules that wouldn't apply.
