Hell, last time I did a guitar, I got all the replies while I was building it and a very few after it was done.  I'll post a pic of the neck.  Give me a few minutes.

:icon_biggrin:, I replied......afterwards.. :dontknow:

But I allready know what it looks like...... :laughing7:

Where'd you get the conductive paint from, I need to get some and redo my brown Jackson I built. I never shielded it and it's got alot of feedback even at low volumes... :party07:

Here is the neck:

I know you replied in the finished area, Doug.  Above are pics of the neck.  I'm keeping the front secret until the thing is done.

Conductive paint comes from StewMac.

hmmm shielding isn't going to fix feedback -- what kind of pickups in it?

Ahhhhhaaa, it's a hi-jacking...... :laughing7:

It has Jackson pickups in it. The bridge is a hot rail hum, and the other is a standard Jackson neck pickup. I don't know the specific numbers off the top of my head....

I may just have the pup's adjusted up to high..... :dontknow:

Actually, it has Rio Grandes.  Muy Grande bridge, Dirty Harry Jr. RWRP middle, and Vintage Tallboy for the neck.  The shielding paint is just because I like to do that.

Texas tone that's bad to the bone!

I've always wanted to try some Texas Specials and see what they sound like, I've heard they're sweet..... :guitarplayer2:

Yeah sorry about that. I just was commenting that I don't think shielding paint will fix bad feedback. But I could be wrong....  I'd say the pickups probably aren't wax potted, or something else, like springs, is vibrating.

Carry on - that neck looks sweet btw. I wish I had the nerve to get one of these exotic necks. I don't think it will happen though :sad1:
