staining guitar body

i interested in the green bayou one. how would i go on using this stuff???but a few coats on then let it dry for a bit and then done?or do i put clear on from a rattle can?...


any info would be help....and does any body know how i would get that colour in a different way////////////////thanks

Sure; just apply BEFORE using clear grain filler, then your nitro

Use the pre-stain too.  It helps, trust me on this!  I did some shelves using a brown shade of that stuff, with no grain fill, on soft pine, lacquer over it.  I wanted a more rustic looking shelf.  Did a good job, but the prestain really made the color even.

the pre-stain will also help keep it from blotching.
