So I see a short scale P bass body in stock, only 3 lb 7 oz, and I'm wondering, would it be worth it to have another body made, and chambered, and a light piece of stock picked out, for another $100-140 ($100 for being chambered, $40 to have them hand pick a lightweight piece) to save another 4-8 oz in weight?
Is that amount really going to make much difference in the greater scheme of things? Worth the extra $$$ in your opinion? I know in the end it's my call, but wondering what your thoughts are?
