Spruce Neck?

I could see Fender undergoing a bankruptcy where the IP and brands are auctioned to the highest bidder, kinda like Hostess did with Twinkies.  An apt comparison, when you think about it...

Proud to say that I bought a box of twinkies at target the other day when they came back on the market.

I immediately regretted that decision.

Spruce neck? Honestly never heard of a neck made of it, accents yes, full on neck no, acoustic top? yes. Twinkies? Never again...until 3 more months down the road.

I wouldn't regret it. Face it: artificial junk food tastes good, and your tendency is to eat good tasting things. It's a survival mechanism that's built into you. No shame in that. Of course, it's poor practice to try and live on such things, but the occasional indulgence certainly isn't going to hurt you. The key is moderation.

Personally, I'm a fool for "Little Debbie" snack cakes. Any of them. Made primarily out of sugar, lard and magic chemicals, they're a joy. They don't have the advertising/marketing budget or labor overhead of Hostess, so they're dramatically less expensive, but they're every bit as nutritionally vacuous.
