Anyone have experience with these?  How they compare with regular mounting?  Looking to put some on a new neck and thought it might be worth a try since pins can break easy.

I've never heard of anyone breaking one of the locating pins, if that's your only concern. They're roll pins, and so are probably even sturdier than the tuner housing, being spring steel rather than die cast. But, if you're just trying to avoid drilling the locator holes, the EZ Lock solution may work out ok. My concern would be keeping the tuner housings lined up while tightening down the top bushings that actually hold the tuner in.

I have the normal pin type, and it was pretty simple to do, so in my opinion, the ez mount is just another option. I've thing to note, as others have mentioned, the template that comes with sperzels for filling, isn't all that accurate, but i used the StewMac drilling jig and it was fine.

I would also be concerned about keeping the housings straight while tightening, which is where the pin type would be better.
If you really don't want to drill, the ez mount could be a good thing.

It's all up to preference, i feel.
