Here's a little bit of a tune I did the other day just for fun.  I had to cut it short to fit on here.  But I thought I'd post it as a way to brag on my pickups.  The two guitars pictured are the ones I used...  I did 4 tracks of guitar actually, I was in a hurry and am not really sure what is doing what, its just a rough take...  The second half of the song is more fun, I should post that...  I have my kids doing backing vocals, they have horrified sounding screams in the background.  It was fun, they're bugging me to do more recording.  My stepdaughter is a left-handed-chick-bassist, I should teach her the song....  My daughter plays clarinet and has begun plunking on the piano, I should teach it to her too.... hmmm.......


The two guitars I used....  Epi LP Custom with cocobolo Woodbuckers & Thinline with Telewoodies.  Plugged into my Valvetronix Tonelab SE..  Bass was my trusty el-cheapo Squier Jazz Bass....

Yup, they helped out.  About 3/4ths through the song I have them doing pained screams.  Naturally, in order for the file to be small enough to fit, I had to cut a third of the song, so you don't get to hear that part..
