Sometimes The Custom Shop Should Say No

I own a seafoam green W strat with a pearloid pickguard.

But I still think this Les Paul, which is a real Custom Shop Gibson, is futt bugly.

I'm doing a setup and cleanup on it, and it just hurts my eyes to look at it.

I would put a white pickguard on, and change the knobs to reflector top knobs, but I kinda like it too. :occasion14:

Let's see ...

No, that's not right ...

It's certainly not for me. Not when I consider what other options might have been available, like a burst :-)

At first I kinda like it... but after looking at it for more than 10 seconds, I start feeling a little sick to my stomach.  Definitely not for me.

With a white pickguard and different knobs I think it could look pretty nice, not that I would still like to own one like that though...

I love it. It needs a tortoise guard and truss rod cover though. Maybe some cream strat knobs. I love tortoise.

i like it! normally i'm really not a fan of pearloid, but i really like how the truss rod cover and pickguard all match. really cool!

All you need is a powder blue tux and you are good to go for the greatest wedding/bar mitzvah band EVER!!!!

Oh... and I actually kind of dig it.  I really like the clear knobs and very Les Paul Custom looking headstock.  To each their own.

I like it! The 60's vibe is groovy. I'd give it a white pickguard and maybe white knobs, although they're pretty fine as they are.

I don't like that color on any guitar, actually, whether it's LP, Strat or even Jazz master. I know a lot of people like it, and I respect that, but to me, it only belongs on an old car.

Of course, Fender used automotive paint on his guitars, so I guess  it makes sense for that period.

I... as it's looking blue in this pic ^^

Then you need to adjust your monitor - really.  :o

Seafoam is always a inbetween of green and blue... I use notebook, so the angle of the screem can change colors etc... but this looks a very blueish green...
