Some quick 7S clips

We threw together a 7S in the office a couple of weeks back, so I took it home over the weekend and recorded some real quick clips.  The signal chain for everything but the lead clip was 7S>Carvin V3m>Axtrak Iso Cab>Lexicon Lambda>Sonar 8.5 Producer.  There was no post EQ, and all the reverb you hear comes from the amp.

On the lead track, there was a Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde and a Visual Sound H2O pedal between the guitar and the amp.  All tracks except for the Clean one were done on Channel 2 of the V3M on a metal-ish setting.  The clean track was done on channel 3.

But enough of all that.  Here are the clips:

First, an improvised metal rhythm pattern:

Next is another metal rhythm track:

Next is a 12 bar blues rhythm track.  This is the same setting as the last two.  I just turned down the volume on the guitar:

The next one is a quick clean track.  "Clean" being used loosely:

And finally is a quick bit of lead playing, very VERY loose:

Let me know what y'all think!  I admit that the 7S is the first 7 string guitar I've ever liked.  The neck was incredibly playable, and made it surprisingly easy for me to go from a 6 string guitar to a 7.
