I think it is very cool - I have never personally seen this type of wood before and I think it is beautiful.  A job well done!

I see some woods at different internet sits like Oregon wild wood and such and dream of buying a set and having Warmoth laminate it to a top.

Thanks. Interesting comment on end grain - that hadn't even occurred to me! I saw the slab of wood in the store and wanted it for about 6 months, knowing I had to make a guitar from it but there was only one shape that would fit, and then only just...
