Soloist body compared to a strat

Just a quick question... Is a Warmoth soloist body just like a strat but with deeper cutaway? I saw this pic on Warmoth's site:

To me the soloist looks pretty different from a strat (I mean, I can easily tell whether it's one or another) but maybe it's just the horn thing that does it then...?  :icon_scratch:

Looking more closely I now see the pox, I mean birdseye. I like that the grain makes it look almost looks spalted.

Spalting has a distinct and unmistakable appearance. That Maple bears no resemblance whatsoever.

I didn't say it 'was' spalting I said it 'almost looked' like spalting. I was simply trying to find a way to describe the many fine wavy lines in that body. And thinking more of a light spalting like in these pieces of wood:
