I picked this pointy beast up on FleaBay just for the fun of it. :toothy12:
This is really so not my kind of guitar, but it was wacky and cheap, so I couldn't resist...
It actually is a really comfortable guitar and does not sound half bad.  Ya' just have to watch where your swinging that tail around.

Believe it or not, there is a rare group of people that collect and love these old Hondo's.
I got an old Hondo Lazer headless guitar [think Johnny Winter] from the same guy and
Ken at Roadhouse is making me some new pickups for it. 
Both guitars are really nothing special, just kinda fun to play around with...

I saw exactly the same model last month, and wanted to buy it for the same reason!!!
the only reason I did not buy it, was because the pawnshop didn't want to drop the price... not even a penny!
It pissed me off so much that I left out of principle!! nobody will pay sticker price at a pawnshop!! idiots!

either way, Doug, this pawnshop was kinda close to you! oh well, in your general direction - Longview! if you hurry, they may still have it!
