Hello! How do you guys clean your guitar bodies? Some kind of wax? Any preferred brand or type?
Caranuba wax?

What kind of dirt?Hello! How do you guys clean your guitar bodies? Some kind of wax? Any preferred brand or type?
Caranuba wax?
Well, it's not dirt really. I just was comparing the smoothness/silkiness of my Fender guitar vs one of my Warmoth's. The Fender feels way more smooth or thick. I was thinking that maybe my Warmoth just needs waxed real good. Sort of like a car right after washing where it's more bare or rough versus with some nice polish. It may be that the clear used is different. What kind of dirt?
Usually just a microfiber cloth and frankly sometimes a touch of spit shine, they usually aren’t grimy just dusty.
I mean no disrepect. Are you sure? I’m a little afraid to do this.Windshield washer fluid and microfiber cloth.
No wax.
Why? There's nothing in it that can harm paint.I mean no disrepect. Are you sure? I’m a little afraid to do this.
I don’t really. I’m not sure why I phrased it that way. I guess associating it with washing the car then waxing it. I knew the body wasn’t dirty but it’s just not sexy smooth.also .... why do you think wax is a cleaner
Meguiars Scratch X does a fine job as a final polishing compound…
I think it may the difference in the finish. I’m not real sure but thank you and everyone else for the suggestions!@HumanisHappy ... I guess you are not a fan of "relic" guitars.
Seriously, there are so many guitar cleaning products available. I've never been too picky. I'm currently working with a big bottle of Music Nomad "All Purpose Guitar Detailer For Matte & Gloss Finishes". Seems to do a good job. I can't tell the difference I'm supposed to be seeing in your two photos. They both look pretty shiny to me.
