Showcase floyd nut shelf difference from R3 R4 etc etc

Thanks, but my new neck already has the R4 prep shelf. (I do have a similar setup on another partscaster I made with a Birdseye Maple Warmoth).

I still haven't heard back yet, but I think technically there is a slight difference in the height when mounting. From another forum: "R3 nut the outermost strings are further in from the edges of the fretboard. This means the nut shelf has to be slightly lower to achieve the same string height as an R4."

I got a quick response from Warmoth, though it's a bit foggy:
"R3 and R4 are very close in sizing and mainly are a different string spacing. You MIGHT have to mess with the mounting holes, as sometimes those are not exact, but most of the time, they’re pretty close matches."
We know about string spacing / mounting holes is a new issue- but doesn't affect me. If you are replacing an old Floyd nut with a new 1, or chose the option "w/ Mounting holes" you may have to ream out the holes a bit to get it to work. I picked "shelf only" option so it doesn't affect me. I thought I found some info that said with different string spacings, the radius is more/less in play. so the shelf might be slightly different. My take away from that is (arbitrary #'s). [R3 shelf is cut @ x.000003 while R4 is cut @ x.000004 while I assume tolerance might be 0.0001 meaning it is potentially slightly different it might be negligible]
