I say SG because so many people have LP's...but truly unique SGs are pretty uncommon. It's always the same red paint job.  :-\

Well, I own a Les Paul, and will soon own an SG.  The SG has a way cooler shap, more pointy.

yeah jon i was looking at your sg and and i want that exact set up, with paint and  have been thinking about it for a while

Not unless you take the strap thing and attach it to the upper horn... that's what I did to my epi and it balances fine now.

Amen brother!  This one is on the bucket list, even though I can't come up with a reason why I NEED it.

Dude, you don't NEED a reason to need that.  That's just something you can't live without!  :laughing7:

LP.  I like both, but the carved maple top, binding, and side jack does it for me.  The SGs I've played always flexed too much at the neck joint with a big ole boy like me pulling the neck on a hard bend into my beer gut.  The bolt-on Warmoth wouldn't do that though.

Someday I want an SG.  I'm going to have Warmoth make it though because I want a quilt top with black dye.  I want it to look like smoke.

But I like the LP better in general, though the SG is close to my heart.

SG

Red to black burst dye on flame maple with a korina body, rosewood neck with ebony fretboard, warmoth headstock. Black Floyd, three stacked, black P-90's.No pickguard. 22 frets, no inlays locking nut, flame maple headstock veneer with red to black burst.  :evil4:  My evil Shreddy SG idea.
