Scott Les Paul Copy

My very first guitar was a Scott Les Paul copy, but it wasn't a direct rip-off of a LP.  It didn't have the pickguard and I don't think it had the switch.  And it didn't have a carved top.  It looked liked it had a walnut-colored stain on top of some lighter wood.  It was a single-cutaway with dual humbuckers.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these??

I've never heard of them... but it sounds like you can recreate one from Warmoth parts!

Try the mylespaul.com forums if you really want to know.  They have an entire board dedicated to off brand les pauls.

My first solid body was a LP copy, and a dead ringer for a real LP custom,  from the carved top to the set neck, multi layered binding, headstock shape. Even the logo on the headstock was a copy of the Paul, and the script of the maker. It was a Memphis..
