I am considering configurating my neck with 25/64" holes to accommodate these tuners:

I am wondering what the largest string gauges that fit through these are?

According to this site

it seems like the biggest string gauge is 78. Is this correct? If so, I absolutely wont have any problems.

Also, have I chosen the correct hole size?

I would trust what the Schaller chart says. All M6 tuner variants are excellent. There are a set for example on the green guitar in my signature.

You have chosen the correct bore size. (note you may need to use some sandpaper round a pencil or something to get a good fit, dependent on finish etc)
