Sanity check question

So I’m trying out some Bornes PP pots. 
The holes on these things are tiny.

I have some lugs where I need to connect 3 wires to, no way they can fit in the lug hole.

Is there any reason why I shouldn’t just attach a simple small buss wire and then make connections to it?

Nope.  No real reason why not.  Just as long as it's mechanically sound enough that it won't short out on you when you're doing those stage dives...

I plan to shrink insulate any extended lengths of bare wire.

Heaviest connection would be input lug of vol as I have a pup wire, tone cap wire and treble bleed wire to connect
