Sanding Primer

Hi guys, quick question: I've just applied my first nitro primer coats and have a fair bit of orange peel build up. Now it's quite a thick primer coat, do I sand down all of the primer coat or just the "built up" bits where I've used a bit too much?

The whole thing should be level before moving to finish coats.
