Hi All,

I know it's not a warmoth body, but I've been around this forum for over a year now and I trust you guys when I have questions...Hope you can help....

So I have a project I'm putting together. I got a Charvel pro mod neck that I installed ss frets on and I bought a body from KnE guitars. I had them route a single coil for the neck and based on the pics off the website it had plenty of upper fret access since the lower horn was deeply undercut...It's basically a soloist body. Well when I got the body the lower horn wasn't cut as much. "He" said it was due to routing the single coil in the neck. It's not a deal breaker...but I was wondering if I can drum sand some addition relief in the lower horn...I'm not an expert guitar maker so I don't know what reprocautions it will have. Here's a pic of how much I want to cut out:

Can it be done?

Honestly, something like that shouldn't cause any problems as long as you don't sand into the neck pocket and somehow screw it up.  Just be patient with it, have a steady hand, and only take a little bit off at a time. That way you can do it just right and get it perfect.  Good luck!  Looking forward to pics.
