Do I need to protect the binding during the grain fill sanding, or does it smooth out with the finer grades?
Just in case it matters, its a black binding...
Well, put it this way... I did tape it off, then started sanding, but then the tape started pulling off (seems somewhat obvious at this point, ha)...so I'd definitely prefer to NOT deal with it (during the sanding) if it won't affect the end result.
