Sad happenings my guitar gently died.

the amp brand is an old beat up marshall g100rcd stack
and right now im working on a schematic so ill try to have it up in a little bit

one think it might be is that i didnt insulate the ends of my loose wire so them dangling around in there might have caused it.

once you get that I am sure the experts will be able to trace it down
I will allow them to
I have decided to stay out of tech problems

[To clarify for those coming late into this Thread, is the amp the problem or the guitar? Justatele is possibly going off at a tangent here, seeing all the amp tech questions about shorts on grids that was merely a quick comment from an older poster then clarified with some technical comments later...if you read the fulll Thread you will see that in proper context, but coming in late you'd think you have amp problems. The original 'amp tech' question was a hypothetical possibility and people are just trying to clarify the workings of amps in reply.]

Is the amp still working with other guitars or is the guitar not working at all?

You mention a schematic...are you getting a schematic of the guitar (which you say is a big mess) or the amp? :icon_scratch:

The problem seems to be more of an issue with the guitar than amp.  :icon_thumright:

the amps fine, the guitar is messed up, im gonna try replacing the pots first to see if that works, cause they were pretty bad coming out of the guitar i took them out of.
