I wonder what the idiots idea of a router bit was?
I can only laugh thinking of what he kept saying as he got to the edge of the original rout and grabbed wood and ruined it. His face must have puckered up and he decided to be more careful. as it kept happening he was crying like a baby and cussing his luck as he kept knocking on the sides and chipping out wood, this problem was complicated by the fact that not only was he routing with the wrong style bit but one to deep and he had little feel for the edge as he was trying to hold it up off the bottom and not take out wood there. Once finished his heart sank and he decided the only way he could even retain a little bit of the money he had invested was to become an Ebay Scammer.
Bet he returned the router and started bit to HomeDepot for a refund and never brought out that pile to show to his friends he has been bragging it up to all 2 weeks before the "DAY OF THE ROUTER". Instead he went strait to Ebay to see if someone would offer money for it.

Is it possible he/it tried to go for the Variax route?  I really doubt it, but I'm just trying to make sense of it.

This body would be good to plug up with wood and then respray into a Frankenstein-type guitar with solid finishes.  Re-drill one volume pot, an output jack and maybe one pickup at the bridge...BTW, those existing bridge studs look way too wide for a tune-o-matic......and quite set back. For safety's sake, you'd plug those too and do your own bridge to make sure you are exactly in the right spot.

A lot of work to get that body resurrected, may be better just junking it for firewood. :sad:
