rotary switch wiring

Hi all,

I want to wire my single humbucker Warvin (you know, Carvin/ Warmouth) with a 5-way rotary switch.
The diagram from guitarelctrincs.com has vol tone and switch.

I'd like to just have the volume and 5-way switch, can I just leave the tone out? Would I put the capacitor on the volume, or just leave that off?

The pickup is a Carvin c22b. 4 wires + ground.

Just leave wiring to tone pot out. No need for cap if you aren't implementing a tone pot.

The time to wire it is when you normally sleep, like after the wife goes to bed, watch some Leno then connan and wire it up, then suck it up and be tired at work the next day, like the rest of us. :laughing7:
