Finally wrapped this project up.  Here are some pics and I'll post up more later.

By the way, the Roadhouse P-90's are the freaking BOMB.  Individually they are clean as can be.  Run them through a Maxon 808 with the gain kicked up and they are downright nasty.  Here is where Ken worked his magic.  I wanted a harmonically balanced pair and when they are run together, its like a symphony of music. Deep, bold sound with fantastic mids. Exactly what I wanted to hear.  I may never take it out of the second position.....and that's through a pos GDEC Jr. Sounds even better when I plug it into my Blues Jr. When I roll down the tone knob these pickups go from super clear to really deep in the mids with no muddiness whatsoever.  And when the volume knob is turned past 7, they just crunch.

The sustain seems to last forever and you can feel the resonance through the entire guitar.

Stunning.  Absolutely stunning.  I'd love to hear sound clips or see a video of this thing being put through its paces.  Very nice.  :rock-on:

That's freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaking awesome.... :guitarplayer2: :guitarplayer2: :guitarplayer2:

i don't always like these, but i feel like this is one of those rare guitars that would look great with wood covers for the p-90s, and maybe (just maybe) wooden knobs too. Vol Knob (i think) has a guitar with wood covers and it looks amazing!

I was thinking about that as well.  I may go ahead and do that to see how it will look.

Wow, very cool. The colouring on that top is something else...
Good to have more positive feedback on Roadhouse's pickups btw, for no particaular reason *cough* :laughing7:

The roadhouse singles are good too, they can really deliver a good crunch or cleanup like churchbells.

I can't believe I dont have a set, I may have to reconfigure my quilted maple strat from the David Gilmour EMG's to the roadhouse clan. Then I'll be able to get some use outta that axe

You don't have any? I'm kinda surprised. Well, you know how good they are as well as anybody else here :eek:ccasion14:

I actually have a set of covers in rosewood.  Interested?

Sweet looking guitar! I am jealous. Makes me want to look you up next time I'm in FL. I could use a swim and a jam.  :party07:

I think those covers would be the perfect topper to an already perfect guitar.

+1 on the audio/video clips. Let's hear it!

Everytime I see a rosewood guitar I want to take a bite out of it because it looks like chocolate.

So that's a very tasty guitar you got there man :eek:ccasion14:.

Damn you tease!!! I want to hear more. Sounds great... whoever would've thought we could one day record guitars on our phones, and have it sound like that?
