rondo + warmoth = awesome?

I'll take that as you saying that you don't actually have anything reasonable, on-point or interesting to say, and that you give up trying to talk trash.  Thanks!

I think it's funny that the word for the fibromuscular tubular tract leading from the uterus to the exterior of the body in female placental mammals and marsupials is automatically converted to "virginia" by the forum software.

Thanky cagey - I always wondered who to attribute that quote to.  FTR, it's not the technology that amazes/amuses me, it's that fact that one can't "say" vagina on this forum

It really is magical.

And I, for one, thank our digital overlord with its clever potty-mouth-term substitution in helping make me look awesome.  :icon_tongue: :icon_thumright:

But really, nothin' beats icecream.  Hey remember that band out of LA in the 80's called, "Faster Icecreamcat"?  Yeah.

"virginia" - it's a Southern thang.

Really.

*cough* drumroll please *cough*

honestly i find this argument to be fairly amusing.

and i love how one guy is trying to score brownie points with another member by siding with him in apointless quarrel. kind of like a sidekick nobody listens to.

This page has been around for a long time but it's still funny as hell.  :icon_thumright:

Forum word filters are usually created by an administrator, and sometimes a committee, so you can get some pretty uneven treatment of the language depending on the person or committee's sense of what's proper or acceptable. To make matters worse, not all forum word filters are equal. Some are more intelligent than others and know better than to obfuscate a word that just happens to contain a letter sequence that matches a "forbidden" word. Others, not so much.

On the forums I administrate, I don't even turn the word filter on, let alone try to figure out what's acceptable or not. But, I use a different software package called "Beehive", which allows individual members to create their own word filters. That way, nobody's got any excuse. If somebody is super-prudish, they can eliminate half the English language if they want to. Others can be more prosaic, and still others can let people speak they way they want to. I'll still edit some posts, because there are those who act like alleycats and just get way out of hand, but that's extremely rare. Usually, those kinds of people don't last long on a seasoned community forum anyway.

Personally, I think that as long as people don't get into Eddie Murphy or Samuel L. Jackson levels of profanity, you ought to let people speak their mind. And from a practical point of view, it seems to work out well that way. If people know they can cuss if they want to, they tend to self-censor themselves and save it for when something needs to be intensified. Besides, it's difficult to make a point if your vocabulary is limited to profanity. On technical forums such as this one, even more so.

To those who made helpful comments thank you very much. To those who wish to derail the conversation, please start another thread.

Anyways... I've decided that I'm gonna grab the sx telecaster when the money allows. Changes I plan on doing will be upgrading to dimarzio area pickups, possibly even a nashville setup. The neck will prolly be a right hand reverse all maple tele neck, with ss frets, earvana, and compound radius.

Even though this project should be relatively cheap I've been saying "when the money allows" cause I don't currently have a job. I hope to get back to you on this soon.
