My wife dabbles in bass guitar playing, and she digs the shortscale length, so two christmases ago I was shopping around and ended up getting her one of these.

After having it set up by "my guy" (it wasn't great from the factory) with flatwound strings, also something she is partial to, I was actually fairly well impressed.  It is really one of those rare gems that Epi turns out occaisionally.  Can't beat the price tag either.

I dont know about that paticular model, but I can say that generally speaking, the Rondo stuff is VERY good quality for the price you pay.  I got a Jazz/P bass cross from them for about 125 bucks, and it is fantastic - for what I paid for it.  I honestly cant find anything about it to complain about.

Didn't EVH use one of those on a Van-Hagar album....I remember seeing a video with him holding one....

My God Sammy looks like such a douche.  I was TRYING to listen to some post 5150 Van Halen, and it is his tone that ruins it for me.  I HATE that chorusy, harmonized sound.  Yuch.  I do like the song finish what ya started, though.  He should play more really clean stuff.  Eddie with a tele would be great!
