Roasted swamp Ash Tele

The roasted swamp Ash Tele arrived late today. Finish is Vintage Amber. 

No decent light today so I’ll get pics of this and the Strat from yesterday, tomorrow.

It’s a LW option and routed for a Nashville configuration, though I have no plans for the middle currently.
Zhangbucker tapped Paul Bunyan’s have been in hand for this. Also the neck is all set. Brazilian Ebony 59 profile with gold 6100s.  Neck work has already been completed.

Need to get a bridge, pots, switch, neck plate, jack, pickguard and control panel.

Pickguard and control panel will be clear and backpainted gold ala Gretsch, other hardware will be black.

Looking at the pic, it may not be as dark as you think. It is definitely lighter than mahogany with trans brown.

It isn't a matter of dark as much as the color. lighter or darker, that color is really nice.
