Gibson made about 100 of those a couple of years ago, kind of a reissue of something that never existed. It's a killer guitar, loves the key of A for some weird reason.
That finish I believe is brown to clear.
I've ordered exactly the same finish on a flame maple LPS I have on order.
I saw it on a quilted maple LP body in the showcase. And I fell in love with it.
My rep said that the finish was not normally offered. I think it cost another $30.
That is the first time I've seen it on flame maple. It looks like I am going to be very pleased.
