anybody has one or any views on reverend?

always wanted a korina guitar and most of reverend's current line seems to be made up of korina. 1 piece body and 1 piece neck as well. made in korea though.

i am particularly interested in their volcano which is similar to a Vee, though with a bit of an offset body. also with a headstock which brings albert king's vee to mind.

appreciate any insights/feedback on this company/guitar etc.

Nice folks who truly know what they're doing. The owner of he company, Joe Naylor, is a local living legend. Two of my brothers and I have all done a respectable amount of business with him, and subsequently his partner who bought out his interest in the music store. I'm not a huge fan of his guitars, but not because of any build or sonic deficiencies. I'm just not attracted to the body styles. I'm an old dog, and so somewhat a traditionalist <grin> But, there's no accounting for taste, so you can toss that opinion. For the most part, his designs are similar to the traditionals, but different enough to avoid lawsuits, so to me they always look "wrong" somehow. But, they're superb instruments. I seriously doubt anyone would be less than pleased to own one.

The store, Joe's Music, is unusual in that they're the warranty depot for a lot of big names like Marshall, G&L, Fender, Mesa Eng., Gibson, etc. Their tech department is much larger than the store, which itself is pretty respectable. Not quite as large as your typical Guitar Center, but approaching it, with three times as much floor space in back for the electronics and instrument techs. Naturally, they have probably the largest stock of Reverend guitars you'll find anywhere, due to the relationship between the two owners of those businesses. So, if you ever find yourself in the metro Detroit area, be sure to stop by and say "hey!"
