Retrack/Remix Using...GASP!...Outboard Gear

Hey, guys.

Long time - hope all's been well with you cats.  My kid is getting huge and I've been finding a little time to experiment and record a bit.  I purchased some gear for the studio and have been delighted with being able to twist a physical knob without having to use a trackpad. 

I've retracked the rhythm parts with a Warm Audio TB12 Mic Pre.  Really warmed up the tones and compressed them in the most musical way.  Also picked up and refurbished a vintage Rockman Sustainor and GEQ, which I was turned on to thanks to a re-awaking to the awesomeness that is the Def Leppard Hysteria record.  Still learning how to use this fickle beast, but it's promising.

I'll pick up the rest of the story in the OT section, but my thoughts have been with you all.

My God, I thought this kid would resemble me a little, but my wife's Filipina DNA is strong.  At least he got my nose, chin, hands, feet, and ears!

Nice track defiantly got the old Def Leopard vibe. Nice looking kid the last pic cracked me up I thought he was telling you to put more mids in the rhythm track there.  :icon_jokercolor:  :headbang4:
