Hi!
Someone has high resolution pics of Goncalo Alves neck?
I want to see **very well** this wood.
Especially the porosity
In my mind I've a Pauferro neck like reference

(and if goncalo is similar it - just a moment... **very similar** - my choice is almost done  :icon_thumright:)

Here are a couple of pictures of my Warmoth 72 Thinline's goncalo alves neck. Hope it helps.

Wow. Pictures with more detail than newsprint. I'm not sure how to act <grin>

Looks nice. Got your action set down to the hairy edge, eh?

I think the action is just about perfect, but it took some work. When the tech who assembled the guitar for me discovered the nut was cut unevenly, he recut and shimmed the nut that was faulty from Warmoth. Now it's very low and doesn't have a buzz anywhere.

Warmoth's nuts are usually cut a tad high, since you can always lower them but it's difficult to raise them without replacement unless it's the type of nut designed to take shims. The LSR and Floyd nuts, for instance. Yours is right down there, though. Things gotta be a breeze to play.
