Removing scratches from chrome pickup covers.

I've nearly finished my project guitar - a Strat with 2 mini humbuckers, and somewhere along the line I've scratched the chrome covers.

It's not a disaster, but if there was any easy way to remove the scratches, I'd like to give it a go.

Any advice?

You need some 3 micron diamond paste and a horse hair brush, all available from Gesswein. Get the small brush to use in a dremel. Dremel may even have some brushes they make...

if they're chrome - you wont get scratches out, but how'd you scratch chrome, hard stuff that it is?

if they're nickel - just buff out with 600g paper then some Flitz or other fine fine compound
