Regal Neck Pickup Location In Relation To Lower Horn Cutaway

Hey guys! Not a regular here anymore, but I do stop by to check in on all my old pals, haha.

I'm looking at the Regal body, and in all the pictured of in-stock bodies, and in the configurator thing, the neck humbucker rout always looks like it's too close to the lower cutaway to allow for the mounting ring to look aesthetically pleasing with a 22 fret neck.

But then I keep seeing newer pictures where it definitely has enough clearance, and looks significantly further away than in older pictures.

Anyone have some pictures or insight on this?
(I'm probably just dreaming right now, cause I can't afford a next build anyways, and my next build will probably be a Soloist... But this is for science, I promise.....)

Hey Timmsie, welcome back. Within the last year or so we made some modifications to the Regal body for just that reason. We still have some older bodies in stock though. Good luck with the gigs  :headbang4:

And thanks for the luck! Haha, balancing two bands with vastly different styles is pretty challenging sometimes.

I noticed this change in the Regal body as well, and I approved. Not that anyone asked, but I approved anyway.

Bruh, if the big Dubs would sell me a chamber body without a top (they won't, believe me ive #asked) , then I would fill the chambers with ranch and epoxy and gummy bears before gluing the top on for the ultimate hidden valley shred machine
