Quilted Maple Pickguards?

This is a guitar building board and we have quite a few minors on here that are active contributors as well. Coming here and bragging about illicit drug use really has no place. I am sure there are many other boards for that but in reality it has no place here as it doesn't add to the content. He had been warned many times the first time and I am sure warned a fair amount the second. He lives the life of a true Dead Head and it works for him just doesn't really work for this board.

I think people on this board are way too conservative, and I think to call a guy a "dead head" is a bit harsh, and I don't really see that many minors on this board, and most of what he discussed they have probably heard about in school. Anyway...

This guy does good work.  They're laminate on plastic or laminate on wood.

I have one on my Thinline.  Its Pau Ferro.  I've had it for two years, matte finish.  You can see where I like to rest my fingers, its shiny and clean in the area below the strings from the oils in my skin.  You can also see how I'm not all that delicate and have chipped some of it up by the neck pocket.

Dead Head as in a Grateful Dead fanatic, common term, ya'know. Even he calls himself that, I think.

And back on topic...
Bluesman, congrats. I think you are the first person I've seen that was able to pull off a quilted pickguard. Bravo, sir. It's subtle, but classy.

Who keeps banning him. The guy is a complete legend, and I found his content in no way to be offensive...  :icon_scratch:

He had a few controversial rants that were caught and deleted before they snowballed.  Some controversial business practices too.  Ask him for his side, I'm sure he lurks and is reading this.  He's on FB.
