Quilted maple on maple. Wenge ziricote.

Ended up using a Birdseye neck in Gibson scale. It is quilt maple on maple. Mojotone 72 clones with splits.Babicz fixed six.  It all works very well together considering a 3A Birdseye neck.

Looks great. Just enough color on the body to give it depth. That birdseye neck is a good compliment for it.

I was trying to be subtle....it’s not quite what I envisioned, but still very nice. I’ll have to try a greater contrast colour fade next. If you can tell there is a hint of redishness beneath the bridge area......came out too subtle but I learned a ton about dyeing maple.
