That's going to look really good.

That was the one from the showcase, right ?
I was literally looking for it a few days ago to try my laguna dye mix (in my VIP build in this section of the forum), unfortunately it had already "disappeared".
Good choice ! ;-)

Birdseye maple neck after some sanding. It’s a Gibson scale.

Body after one last touch of dye and a rubb down with a damp dye cloth.

Hmmmm wonder what happened.

First coats of lacquer on body and neck getting some Lollar humbucker size trons.the birds eye neck fit with that “just right” snugness. The quilt looks about two inches deep ....can’t wait to get all the finish on then wait a few weeks to polish it.....cold and damp so just one or two coats a day.

Lookin good. Those P-Rails look good in there.

The zebra buckers just made it too dark .....I think the p rails have found a home. Had to modify the triple shot ring to work with the bucker bridge.

You could always use a half bridge with the triple shot.

I have a Babicz Tele bridge that I’m thinking of cutting down as we speak......back is swamp ash and came out well.

I could cut this down to just above the Babicz and make a half bridge......just so hard to start the cut.....is the best way though.

Looking good so far.

Which model of Babicz bridge is that?

Been wanting to get some confirmation of which one of their bridges aligns with which Warmoth rout or not.

I’m not sure which model it is. I got it used ........... :turtle:.... The box says Billy Gibbons model. Has six mounting screws that were not on the guitar. Four along the back edge and two at front. When I put in place the body string through holes lined up. I fixed it in that position after making sure the saddles made scale. All worked out. The original Gotoh bridge had two saddles with the screws seized in the saddles I’ll have to cut them and get two new block saddles. I like the aged bronze look. All the knobs should patina toabout that colour over time.

After looking at the site I’m really happy to have gotten it in a box of used stuff for a few bucks.
