quick question- how tight should I screw the neck?

So, after much work my build is almost done, and I have a last question that is the final step before completion:
How do I know the screw is tight enough? How do I know when to stop?

Take into consideration I use threaded inserts.

Thanks! Pics & sound soon to follow!

I put threaded inserts on 90% of the necks I deal with, and in my experience, you reach a fairly positive stopping point. I don't think there's any risk of over-tightening or pulling out the insert if you're doing it by hand. If you were to pull an insert, it probably wasn't properly installed to start with. I don't know what the torque rating would be, but with a properly sized screwdriver you can usually tell where if you go much farther, you're going to slip the head and distort the slots.

If you have ever used a screwdriver before, you should know how tightening screws works. You reach a point where you can't tighten anymore without forcing it. That's when you stop.

I set my cordless drill with the Phillips screwdriver bit with the torque setting to where it stops forcing it after a reasonable amount of resistance.
It snugs them without the risk of over tightening  or stripping.
