Quick question: can you use a burst finish on a walnut body?

Question, out of curiosity, is there a list of woods that Warmoth sells (or does not sells) internationnaly?
Knock yourself out. (Animals at the top, plants start near the bottom.) If you find it hard to follow you're not alone. In the US, it's the US Fish & Wildlife Service that actually enforces it.

And FYI, there are certain animal species that effect Warmoth as well, mostly shell and abalone.
Not to be insistent but I found this:

P.S. Indian rosewood was also restricted, then it has been delisted, but few years ago all makers started to offer Pau Ferro and a lot of people thiught it was a cheaper and less desirable alternative, while in 90s it was highly prized. My Wrmoth Strat neck is indeed flame maple and Pau Ferro.
