Here is a heavily aged butterscotch blonde to match the Esquire that I am holding in the second picture. In the first picture the one on the right is my one-year-old finish that I have let age naturally and the other was aged with Amber Shellac. Notice the real vintage Fenders in the second picture. I’m holding the Esquire on the left and Daniel Castro is holding the Tele. I was going after the Esquire color for this guitar. I still prefer letting the lacquer do it’s thing naturally but even then there is no telling how much the thing is going to orange. The two vintage guitars side by side is a good illustration of this.
