Question for those who have the string-thru tune-o-matic

Mulling over some ideas for a build, and I was thinking about using the string-through tune-o-matic...
I was wanting to know the average distance from the string-through holes to the end of the guitar (I realize it might vary depending on model).

If you get the straight line, I believe the placement is about the same as the stop-piece.
