Question about Vint. Mod. Strat Neck with Floyd Prep

I was wondering why you can't choose a Floyd Nut in the neck builder when choosing a Vintage Modern Strat Neck.  Is there a physical reason why they don't allow this?

I'm just guessing, but it may have to do with there being a truss rod adjustment nut up there. Even if you don't hit it, you're taking a lot of wood out of the neck in a concentrated area.

I thought that, but isn't this similar?

Now that I think about it a bit more, I wonder if it is a combination of truss rod adjustment nut with a flat headstock vs angled that makes it difficult.

Tiltback headstock is a different story.  With a Vintage Modern neck, the locking nut slot would cut in to the truss rod adjustment trench.
