I agree, the first guy has a closer sound to Freddies, but the other guy's got the moves, but with the fake mustache and wig, he's kinda creepy...Alfang said:Orpheo i rspectfully disagree, the first guy was what queen needs, hell he even looks like freddie, he was pitch perfect and has a youthfull presence much like arnel pineda with journey.
I saw queen with paul rogers a few years ago, and it was a great show, Paul didn't try to REPLACE Freddie, he sang all the queen songs in his own style and was very good, but queen should find a new singer and continue on, and one that sings like freddie in my opinion is the way to go
As cool as it would be, I would imagine the remaining members don't care to revive Queen, and are probably to old to care anymore... :dontknow:Death by Uberschall said:I agree with Hannaugh. The first guy is the type of quality singer Queen should get to continue their careers with. The second guy belongs in a tribute band.

Tough to go romping around practicing your chops and going on tours with that sort of thing going on as well. Besides, he's 64 years old. Not that that's necessarily old these days, but one does grow tired. Standing around for 3 or 4 hours with a guitar slung around your neck isn't most retiree's idea of relaxing. John Deacon and Roger Taylor are also in their '60s, with lives of their own. I don't think any of them are hurting for money or recognition.
