Quatersawn Fretboards?

Hi, are Quatersawn fretboards much more expensive than regular fretboards? Do they sound better? Look better?

I'm not sure anyone makes a distinction on a piece of wood that narrow/thin. I suspect fretboards are the chosen as the end result of judicious sorting, or picking targets of opportunity from the stock at hand from which to cut strips.
