Well I guess the third time really is the charm. Really happy with the 2K finish this time around. This was meant as a learning / experimenting build, and Man did I learn a lot. I learned I don't like Nitro, I learned what to do and what NOT to do with SprayMax 2K, and learned a lot about dying, prepping, etc. It plays great and I love the MojoTone P90's, can't stop playing Black Sabbath.

I think it turned out pretty good for my first build with an unfinished body. That's all I will build from now on.....

I still want to make a control cavity cover for it to match the back at some point.

It is a unique body for sure, and really comfortable to play. I did a complete fret level, polished and dressed, and filed the nut, and it really plays nice !

Thanks. 2 separate applications 2 days apart with level sanding in between. A full can each application, 6 or 7 good coats from each can.

LOL, Me and the Wife both noticed it after I read your post last night. It immediately reminded both of us of the 'Devil Fireplace' at the tavern down in the Texas Hill Country.

By the way, if anyone gets Real Ale beer in their area, try the Devil's Backbone. It's a really good Belgian Style Tripel. Brewed in the Hill Country and named after the road down there that's super twisty and a great motorcycle ride !

In all honesty, it did come out really well!
