Printing the Warmoth Pickguard guide ACTUAL size

Blackouts

I'm old, fat, dumb, and getting dumber....

I've ordered Strat pickguards elsewhere which haven't been quite the right fit.

Want to buy & fit a pickguard to an old Warmoth Strat build. The W site says "don't click 'Fit To Page' when printing out guide to whether these will fit your guitar."

I want to print an ACTUAL SIZE guide to check the pickguard will fit my guitar.

This should be simple, but it constantly prints about 75%. Probably because I'm simple...

Help for the technically challenged appreciated...

With my printer, Under 'page settings' I can choose the print size %. The default on my printer was 75%. All printers and operating systems (mine is Linux) are different but maybe yours is set something like that. Look in your printer setttings or properties for something about print size.

Don't feel bad.

I am a graphic designer who has to navigate all manners of printer drivers and printing from any manner of various software (where the dialog box has a completely different set up) and it screws me up all he time.
Certain preferences are in the OS level. It can be a PITA.

The first thing you need to do in Adobe Reader is choosing print to actual size. See attachment of Mac version but PC is similar at the bottom of the PDF click on the arrow just to the right of the percentage shown to change the size.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

Sorry, I've been away a few days.

I'm sure the answer is there, can't be that hard right ?

Start with what I suggested above, print it out. If it is not actual size only then look at your printer settings.

I've solved it !

This is for anyone else technically-challenged.

I couldn't see the drop menu posted by Stratamania - had a think....

I was trying to print directly from the Warmoth website, using the default Win10 PDF reader, and had my printer set to Portrait.

Saved the PDF of Strat pickguard to my computer & downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader (there's plenty of others).

Opened PDF in Acrobat : voila! The menu as indicated by Stratamania is there - click on 100%.

Send to printer - each half prints actual size, in Landscape format.

Now I'll cut out & see if it fits the old Strat !

Glad you sorted it out.

I assumed you would have downloaded it and had Adobe Reader installed already as it is pretty ubiquitous. Just goes to show about assumptions  :laughing7:
