None of them  :evil4: :evil4: :evil4: :evil4: :evil4: :evil4:

Hoping i'll love the Gecko body shape as much as I do the Z style.

Bassist invasion over!...... Erm yeah I should sleep...

Looks or comfort?  I think the LP is the prettiest, but Fender shapes are more comfortable in my opinion.

I'm right there with Hannaugh!  I love the look of a nicely bound :glasses9: LP, but nothing beats the comfort of a strat.
And a strat is not what I would call fugly...

I've owned Strats, Teles, a PRS-a-like and played LPs, SGs and an Explorer once.  Sitting down, there isn't a shape that really bothers me, but standing up (as in playing a show), it's a Strat all the way so far as comfort goes.  A Strat has been my main guitar for so long that it just feels right.  The way it hangs on a strap and the relative location of the frets has become ingrained in my muscle memory and playing style.  i can play a Strat effortlessly, without thinking. The problem is that all other guitars hang differently on a strap.  I love the way Telecasters sound, but the relative position of the neck of a Tele vs. a Strat is about two frets farther away.  That's why (when I manage to allocate the funds and justify it)  I'm building something to this effect:

My favorite body shapes are the Strat, Tele, LP, and Soloist, but since I could only choose one, I voted Stratocaster.

Oh   you mean guitar body shape.
I like many shapes, and that's a real big problem for me.  :help:

My Fav's are (in no particular order) .... Strat, SG, Tele, LP

I have to say Tele's and Les Paul's are my all time favourite guitars, but some of the PRS guitars are just exquisite. I do concur with everyone else however, in that strat style bodies are the most comfortable to play

For me the Strat is the standard against which is compared, most of the time unfavourably.

And the Ibanez RG is the (super)Strat made perfect, but I guess we're only discussing Warmoth shapes.

I'm surprised the Tele doesn't have more votes, considering they're in every GOTM.

Years ago I owned a Squier sunburst Tele with tortoise pickguard for a short time, and after I sold it I hated Teles, until I dicovered Warmoth and realized all the different options you could put on them. I still hate the headstock but the body shape has grown on me.

When it comes to looks definitely a Les Paul, my first love and still my favorite. The carved top and the curves of the shape make her the dream guitar for my taste. The LP is also very comfortable in sitting position. The PRS shape is close for the same reasons. I liked PRS from the first time I saw their catalogue back in 1990. When PRS went from the Santana shape to the Signature/Custom shape he did it right, I'm glad he kept this shape. The carved top and the contours are perfect.

The most comfortable guitar is the SG. 22 fret access, thin/light body, TOM bridge to rest your hand. #1 for me.

The Jaguar/Jazzmaster combine comfort & looks. The offset shape is a clever idea and beautiful.

I really like the Jazz bass shape too. It looks like a mix of a Strat & Jazzmaster, perfect for my taste. Of course the sound is also one of my favorite bass sounds of all time. My Jazz bass is one my favorite instruments.

Les Paul or Jazzmaster; depends what sort of tone I want. I use virtually the same hardware and electronics in all my guitars (two humbuckers, one volume, tune-o-matic and stopbar bridges, 24.75" scale), so any difference in tone comes purely down to construction; the body style/mass and the neck join. Seems much smarter, to me, to just let the Les Pauls be the thick-sounding ones, rather than trying to make Jazzmasters sound thicker with particular pickups, or vice-versa.

Of the two, I couldn't choose. One can't do what the other does, at least not without completely changing how I spec out and wire up my guitars.

The Strat/Soloist shape is by far my favorite mostly for balance and feel. But I do like the look of the LP and have found a couple Jassmasters that I really liked as well.
